During the Eastern Han Dynasty, some rich young men were celebrating the Double Ninth Festival. They had a competition at a restaurant to see who could eat the most crabs. Hua Tuo, a well-known doctor, was also there. He warned them not to do so. He said crabs were "cooling" and eating too many could make them sick.
